About

I'm Alissa Nicole, an LCA engineer and software builder based in the Netherlands. I've sat in every chair around the sustainability-software table: the customer who needed a number she could defend, the verifier who had to grade it, and now the product owner deciding what gets built.

What I do now

I'm a LCA/EPD specialist and product owner for extensions on a product-footprinting software — responding to standard and programme operator gpi updates that software cannot implement fast enough. My job is making sure the numbers the software produces are ones a modeller, a customer, and a verifier can all audit, and most of all, it has to be correctly calculated, formatted and automated.

What is this site for?

I created this website to show all my projects. All of them are unrelated to my day job. Guess you could call them an hobby. I've been coding and creating since b4 ai but ai has really changed the game for me and now I'm an hobby-ist pro with a $200 ai subscription. Go figure.

How I work with LCAs

• A number nobody can audit is a liability, not a deliverable.
• Predictable beats clever — a user must always be able to explain where a number came from.
• AI drafts, rules decide, humans approve.
• A thin slice that crosses the whole stack proves more than a completed layer.
